Half-Term: Monday 16th Feb - Wednesday 18th Feb 2026  (1 week)

Term 3

Monday 2nd March 2026 - Wednesday 27th May 2026

Easter Holidays: Monday 30th March - Wednesday 15th April (3 weeks)

Open Days

Open days are when relatives and friends are invited to come and watch class.

There are usually two open days per year, however during to the covid-19 pandemic in 2020 there were no open days.

We are look forward to welcoming you back in this new Ballet Year. 

Exams

When a student is seen to have reached a required standard and deemed ready, they will be offered the opportunity to take a Royal Academy of Dance assessment or examination.

There are 3 examination sessions during the year, and the Clare Novaes Ballet School usually enters examinations in the spring session during March. These assessments and examinations are optional.

The following commitments should be taken into consideration before deciding to take an assessment or examination:

  • Full attendance at classes running up to exam
  • One extra lesson as a dress rehearsal
  • Practice syllabus exercises at home to CD music
  • Fee to be paid in advance
  • The examination could be during school hours
