Clare Novaes trained at the Royal Academy of Dance for three years and is a Registered Teacher.
Since graduating in 1989 Clare has acquired wide experience in her field including Director of Dance at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, London, teacher at Musika Centro de Arts, Brazil, and choreographer and dancer with Hoi Polloi, Pui Mosso and In Transit dance companies.
She gained a BA Hons in Anthropology with Ethnomusicology from Queens University Belfast in 1996.
In addition to her role as Artistic Director of the Clare Novaes Ballet School (est 1998), Clare is also a guest lecturer in Classical Ballet at the University of Ulster, and a Dance Artist with Creative Youth Partnerships. She is Board Director for Theatre and Dance NI. Training in Authentic Movement with Joan Davies.
Clare regularly dances at Pineapple Dance Studios in London and attends a wide range of CPD courses.
